PIEMAN 24 RESULTS - Round 2 v Gold Coast

What a difference a week makes! To be fair Bevo probably needed most of the week to digest all the excellent analysis offered to him on BF. But it paid off. Kudos to him for taking it on board.

Twice as many goals as last week and a big enough margin to get our percentage back in the black. There were some big Pieman scores today and a couple of juicy Chumps.

Substitutes and Carryover Teams

There were 12 carryover teams. Some of these required Pieman substitutes which were allocated in the following order:

JUH
Bramble
Gallagher
Bont
West

Recipients of Pieman subs were:
  • Cecil - 2x Bramble for 2x Harmes
  • Charlie Bucket - 2x Bramble for 2x Harmes
  • Fargy - JUH for McNeil
  • Scotty Dogg - Bramble for Harmes
  • Shacf501 - JUH for Harmes
  • TiAn_ - JUH for Lobb, Bramble for Harmes
  • Weltschmerz - Bramble for McNeil
Ten Pieman subs in all.

Most Popular Picks

After applying Pieman subs the most popular picks were:

The KELVIN

Five scores over 200 this week. The Kelvin goes to TiAn_ (242) because his sub Marra got on the scoresheet with the last goal of the game. Not far behind were last week's winner chez_ferret and Bulldog rick (both 235) with identical teams. And only 1 point away in fourth was Bont2Bruce (234). Two of the top four had a triple serve of Weightman worh 234 points, while the other two did it with a Chump, earning a bonus 67 points. lachy (217) had a double serve of Weightman and also topped 200.

Median score was 72 and the average score was 97.34.

The PIEMAN

So having finished first last week and a narrow second this week chez_ferret holds an impressive early lead for the season, ahead of TiAn_ and Bont2Bruce.

Early days, though.

Pieman Player of the Week

You might have expected Weightman to romp this in but in fact he only tied with Oskar Baker due to the handicap difference. Buku a dangerous third too!

1711259693927.png

Highest possible score this week was 344 which would have been 3x Weightman and 2x Khamis.
Highest possible Chump was Weightman/Khamis/Bont/Darcy/Libba for 222 and a bonus of 88 giving a total of 310.
Baker doesn't count in either of these because he was the WB sub.

Pieman Player of the Year

Cody in the early lead.

EDIT: New versions posted for Kelvin and Pieman coz I left out the late starter, StringyDog. All fixed now. :)
