The Pieman Round 24 and Season Wrap-Up

Congratulations to our Pieman for 2025 Snarls Barkley !

Snarls now joins X_box_X as a dual Pieman winner. He went into the Round 24 with a narrow 16 point lead over Palace03 but he put the issue beyond dispute with a top 10 placing in the Rd 24 Kelvin. The final margin was 84 points. Palace03 did remarkably well as his last 17 games were all carryover teams. TiAn_ was still in contention in the final round only 97 off the lead but recorded an untimely bagel and was overtaken for third place by LordC who had been hovering around the top 5 all year.

At the other end of the table RandomDog put in a late bid for the wooden pie ladle but was held off by a determined BulldogMuscle and also Foxman98 .



The KELVIN
The final Kelvin of the year goes to Boyd oh Boyd , his second in three weeks. cecil was in second place with 136 which was only enough to get hm to 5th on the Pieman table, just ahead of fargy with his nearly successful "Hail Mary" entry for Round 24.

We had 30 different goalkickers this year, and they kicked a massive 369 goals between them.



Thanks everybody who took part in 2025. A disappointingly abrupt end to the season but fun to be part of the Pieman.

It's interesting how well the "always the top 5" strategy worked! Didn't get to cash on on debutants or positional changes, but rarely had a poor week.
