Trent Croad. 20 year old gun, with 50 or so games to his name. Croad, Molloy, Rocca, Brodie Holland, Didak and Tarrant on the forward line would be orgasmic.

You would surely have to chose someone with a long future (ie opposed to Carey). Lloyd would be another great pick up but a bit older than Croad and not anywhere near as good outside of the forward line.

Oh yeah, I hope Dale Baynes gets a run for the Pies this Satdy. He is an excellent one grab mark and loves a goal. Bulked up over the summer and kicked a few goals in Williamstown's slaughter of the Carlscum in the seconds.

Brett Ratten - exactly what we need. Hard at it, ball getting midfielder who not only finds a lot of the footy, but uses it very well. Sadly we don't seem to have many midfielders capable of both of those, and Ratten's the best available in that category.

Thanks but no thanks. I don't want Buckley back that much. He is 29 this year, how about we just give you our 5th round draft pick. That sounds a lot fairer.

Shawry would have taken that. He was sure he could get all the A-Grade players he wanted through picks 70-80!

Buckley is the sort of bloke that won't stop playing till he falls over. I would give him another 5-6 years. Proping him up in a forward pocket aged 40, I guarantee you he would still be competitive!
