The Playoff Race

We got around 10 games to go and out west there is a tie for eighth.

For a while it's been three times fighting for two spots with Phoenix, Dallas and Memphis within half a game of each other. Golden State are just ahead but I can't see them missing out and now Portland are thinking this looks like fun and doing their best to end up in the battle as well.

So who do we all think misses out?

I voted for Phoenix before checking it and seeing how close it really is, Golden State is in trouble!

I'd probably still say Phoenix but it really could be either of those teams

I hope Phoenix makes it but I like them/love Dragic+Bledsoe combo

Hopefully Memphis missed out. The other teams i'm more motivated to watch. I concur with the Phoenix sentiments. Very fun to watch. Hopefully Portland hangs on although it's hard barracking for anyone being a Golden State fan. It's damn tight.

The Western Conference race is absolutely thrilling to watch. I would say the biggest question right now is what's the deal with Aldridge for Portland? Their next three games are @ ATL, @ Chicago and Memphis at home. Without him, they'll be to even win one of those games.

Having a look at each teams remaining schedule, I would say Memphis have the toughest road left. Upcoming games @ GSW and @ Portland should be very interesting.

Just seems crazy that a team in the East can make it in while being below .500 and a team in the West can miss out while being above .600. Probably the biggest knock on the two conference system.

Hope Phx, but Memphis probably have a better chance of knocking off the Spurs.

People complain about the loaded West, but you can't really complain about not having a shot at the title when you aren't even in the Top 8 of your conference.

With Aldridge back and beasting today I think Portland should hold on now, so it's between Suns and Dallas for me. Would love nothing more than a no pressure chance to knock off the Spurs in the first round.

Reckon Dallas misses out somehow
