Footy and cricket both miss Slug. Bradman hated Slug and his colourful language and ensured he never kept for Oz.

Hehe.. As a 16yo he give my wicketkeeping skills (+ parentage and character) a blunt and accurate assessment. An absolute badge of honour!

Thankfully he was spared modern disgraces such as Ginnipig or the weepers at Norf who could not cop a bake from the coach.
