Or a PA monogrammed hoodie. I'd love next years hoodie design to be a big PA on the left tit.

We had the Old Gray Varsity Jacket that had Port in some Pirate like writing, with Black selves if my memory serves me correctly, in prominence through '95-'96... Jack may have worn one in a Grandfinal (will see if I can find a picture)

Port or PA monogram on the left tit and 1870 across the shoulders.

This will be the one you are talking about.

I had one similar, didn't have the pirate like signature just Port Adelaide Football Club bolded across in its place - still have it today and it keeps me warm.

I remember wearing it to games pre-AFL and getting asked for an autograph down at Elizabeth Oval so I promptly signed the footy next to names like Scotty Hodges, Tim Ginever etc.

Sorry if that was any of the fan base on this forum. :D

Ill be getting the guernsey. Cant help myself

I can't help myself and I'll be getting the guernsey...

I would personally pay $150-$180 for a good "timeless" jacket. My 1870 members jacket gets a good run, warmest thing I own!!!

Those Club1870 jackets are phenomenally warm and attractive. I only wore a t-shirt under mine for that Collingwood game and the after party at the Stirling Hotel and didn't feel a thing.

Will the 2004 Guernsey only be available to members who want their names on it, or will there be a run for the general population? Money is tight ATM but would still pay up to 150 for a standard edition

Spot on, I was only a little tacker but that jacket is my most vivid memory of pre AFL football!

Not getting one this time. This years 'Prison Bar/Wharf Pylon's" heritage jumper was amazing. Doing a 10-year-old "heritage" jumper is getting a little bit silly for mine.
Although the magpies are still wearing basically the same jumper?
It is of course another marketing exercise by the club as the last was so successful at making money.
I would get it if I didn't already have this one but I have no more room for anything.

It's for the club's only premiership in the national comp, a fairly special thing. Not silly at all, and not 'heritage', nor is it being branded that way.

Fair enough. I'm sure they'll sell like hot cakes. I just never really liked the jumper so the attraction isn't there for me.
I feel the same way, not much of a collector either. I look forward to the day I can buy a commemorative three-peat 'V' guernsey, though. Oh maybe only one premiership in this guernsey will do for now.;)
