Can someone quickly tell me how the 2016 guernseys fit? I got a 2014 BIB in large and it was quite tight but then later that year when the elimination final guernseys came out I went for XL and in hindsight should've gone large because that is quite baggy. It seems the sizings changed from 2014 to 2015. I'm going to order a large in the heritage Guernsey for this year but just want confirmation they fit the same as last year and not 2014.

ISC changed the material for 2015 to a more comfortable, stretchy fabric and fit. Previous to that the guernsey's were very tight and had no give in them, which made them very difficult to layer up underneath on colder days. You're probably right to go with the large now.

they're wearing those godawful orange training guernseys at training today. vom.
I was so surprised to see someone actually wearing one of those at the family day... I cant believe they managed to sell even one.

I thought the high vis yellow maggies training jumpers were hideous, they're top shelf compared to that orange monstrosity.

You would be surprised with how many people buy hideous looking things just to say "yeah, I own one of those".

a mate of mine works at the AFL store and just messaged me that the only 2016 on-field gear they got in apart from home and clash guernsey and media polos, was the 2016 workout hoody (pic was posted a few pages ago, but i'll re-post it below), which is the only thing apart from the 97 reboot that I want this season! PLUS it turns out, my sister bought me a PAFC jacket last year for my birthday that I had already got from Port Store so there is a $100 store credit which will expire in a month. so basically im going to get this beautiful piece of clothing for free.

I tried a couple on the weekend and the 2016 compared to the 2014 is easily a bigger fit. I'm a tight large in the 2014 but I'm a medium in the 2016 guernsey. It's still a looser fit than the large 2014 guernsey. Mind you between the 2016 large and medium there doesn't seem like a huge difference anyway. The material seems to have a lot more give in it and even if it were tight it would still be way more comfortable.

I was just going to order a large on the website. Lucky I tried them on!

I'm keen to see it as well. If the material is thinner than usual I might grab it for legit working out. :)

Liked the look of it in person, but yeah the material is very thin, very much a workout jacket rather than jumper. I really wanted a jumper so I held off, but if you like the material and want that type of jacket then it'll be perfect for you.

I always go for an L in guernseys regardless of the cut.

I actually don't mind the inconsistency in the sizes because then I can wear the tighter fitting ones over a T-shirt when it's warmer and the looser ones over a jumper/hoodie when it's cooler.
