Is there any long sleeve black guernseys out there? I don't even care about PIs, I just want a black long sleeve that fits. Wish the club would sell them.

Send an email to the club IMO. You're certainly not the only one.

Last time I went to the club they told me they don't sell long-sleeved ones. Good thing I bought a long-sleeved one years ago, I just wear it under my current jumper on cold nights.

I thought the Vodafone logo with a white border was introduced on our guernseys in 2005. The 2004 premiership had the red Vodafone logo but no white border.
I am actually unsure of when exactly I bought this guernsey but it is signed by some '04 premiership players and I think I got the signatures at the last training session at Alberton before the GF in 2004. But maybe it's 05/06 and I got it signed later (e.g prior to the 2007 GF).

Based on signatures I have, I reckon that I can work out which GF it was (2004 or 2007) based on #15 (Picket or Rodan). Anyone has a sample of their signatures?

EDIT: I think you are right though, re: Vodafone logo.

Peter Walsh?
Almost the only valuable player we picked up from the reduced price bin near the checkout after 2004. From Melbourne. Nuggety reliable midfielder and I liked him a lot. Played every game in 2005, about half in 2006 (per FootyWire). Hmmm, I thought we had him a little longer. Went on to become a valued player at West Adelaide from memory.

Years of enjoyment ruined by the subsequent gang cyber-beatdown I copped by a bunch of keyboard warriors, all because I asked someone to put aside a guernsey for me to purchase, prior to a club merch sale, while living in a different state.

Please delete my account. And all posts, if possible.
Thank you

Think we hurt his feelings...probably shouldn't have lied to try and cover your ass.

Gee this board can turn on one of their own for not much. And they don't let it go. Perhaps we should re-direct our anger and disappointment of our season and the state of the club to where it should be at the feet of the board and the coaches at Port Adelaide.

I'm filthy at this season and last season but I don't think much can be gained from turning on each other. If you don't like what people say just ignore it and move on. He was a thoughtless bragger but really I've seen people get away with much worse on here. I just feel uneasy at the bullying. I will probably now get attacked and regret posting but if I can't stand up for someone else on here then I don't want to be on here.

I am more interested to see if Port are going to rectify this situation otherwise if things continue on the same trajectory I wont be needing anymore Port merch as I will be busy jumping up and down on the stuff I own.

she now waits to be attacked by those who don't agree with her.

Chokito's frequent use of the third person and fetish for the selfie was tolerated as he gave plenty of himself to the board and ultimately a vibrant online community needs all types; and to be fair he did have an odd gaggle of groupies who for whatever reason egged him on.

But the way he went out, cripes. Whether criticism of him was over the top or not, there's a way to resolve conflict and an apology can't come with a side dish of passive aggression. Genuinely hope he learns something from this.

It was the way he handled himself when it came unstuck more than anything. A simple admission of guilt would have been fine and I think people would be more forgiving and moved on pretty quickly but the subsequent self-righteousness was too much for most people to bear.

Well said Power Girl.

I agree for the most part, as you can see from my previous posts ITT. I think the timeline got a little bit lost in all this, as the gloat was posted before the fact that people had missed out at the sale came to light. With that in mind the initial "crime" doesn't seem that bad at all.

But I don't think Chok's reaction was very good though. A little more empathy for where people were coming from wouldn't have gone astray, and going the full troll offensive was always gonna end in tears.

Anyway he's not the only one that needs to be mindful of their online behaviour. We all have that responsibility but it's easy to forget sometimes behind the virtual shroud where we don't have to say what we post to people's faces.

As is usually the case with these things, it isn't the crime but the cover up that gets you.

Chokito would have been fine if he gave a calm rational response when the issue of staff putting merch aside came to light. His decision to instead go full petulant dickhead cost him his reputation. Hopefully everyone can learn something from this.
