Yes and thanks.

The current one is good but isn't crafted as well as it could be. I've got several drafts that I plan to refine further into a final draft to present to the club at some stage.

IMO, the monogram is the best brand asset to come out of the club for years. Perfectly applies to both teams, represents our eras of dominance and is very understated in its design.

The current one is good but isn't crafted as well as it could be. I've got several drafts that I plan to refine further into a final draft to present to the club at some stage.

I agree, as much as I like the current one there are a couple of elements that don't quite work. IMO the lines are a bit thin and the wavy part at the top of the P looks out of place.

In your version I love how that horizontal part of the A flows into the bottom section of the P. It just seems to tie the whole thing together somehow. I also like the thickness, it looks very strong.

Need to work on the space inside the P (the counter) and get the gaps right between the letters.
Would need a few variants for different sizes and production methods.
