I'm so mad at the Port Club now, how the heck can they lose my membership yet still the direct debits are going through. No port shop going to get any money from me at moment.

I told them to fix the problem ASAP or I'm cancelling all further recurring membership with the club and demanding my money back for this year if not sorted.

13 years as a member here.

I've never known anyone to have any problems, with getting problems sorted out with the club. I'm sure they'll sort you as soon as possible.

So when you say they lost your membership, what do you mean? Did you just never get a membership card this year despite paying and having an allocated seat etc? What happened?

yeah but i'm curious as to whether he ever got a membership card in the first place or how that all happened. Obviously he's on the board here now complaining, so has it seriously been 4 months without a membership card for him? Has he missed every game this year because of this issue?

I'd like a colourful New Era beanie. They look tremendous. Remember Anton telling me last year they were getting them in and they were going to look amazing, but then he left. The people running the Megastore now have no idea what they're doing.

The megastore seems poorly run at times.
The most popular things that always sell out don't get restocked continuously, they just get removed after 2 or 3 restocks.

Seems strange.

Could be a number of variables, the database has had issues in the past and they have put a lot of time and effort into fixing it and moving the data into a new database, don't think that really demanded your rant when they are clearly looking into it for you mate.

is anyone else really disappointed in the lack of quality in the isc gear? I have 3 shirts and the stitching on all 3 is pretty dodgy, i also have a jacket in which first wash with only the jacket itself the white on the jacket turned a dirty grey

I've found the quality to be better than the reebok gear overall. I'd probably take the jacket back if that happened to me.

Got my 1914 Guernsey in the mail yesterday. Absolute ripper that guernsey is, it looks so good. I understand the reasoning behind why we haven't been allowed to wear that guernsey in the AFL to an extent but really this 1914 version is actually nothing like Collingwoods guernsey with the thin white prison bars and the predominantly black look. I actually think a version of this guernsey with silver prison bars would look pretty awesome too and would be a great alternative guernsey to wear at AFL level, if it was silver instead of white i don't see why we couldn't wear something like that on a regular basis.

There's a guy in the crowd wearing one at the Port vee Collingwood final. I always assumed they got a small batch in, sold out and that was that what with the end of the season and summer on the horizon.

With Anton leaving it makes sense there'd be no follow-up for this season, unfortunately.

I keep thinking that I should order some scarves/beanies now for the coming winter in Canada but to be honest I'm not sure how the Megastore would handle shipping to Canada. I still haven't got my membership pack for example- I assume it's lost beyond recall now. Sounds like Anton wasn't replaced properly. Really good retail people are hard to find.

They put forward people that have done only customer service but no IT knowledge.

Can you imagine a football club outsourcing it's recruiting? (well, yeah but I don't think Richmond actually outsourced..) but anyway...
