This message brought to you by a guy who owns a few New Era caps as a man in his late 20s and has had to fight the tired old "lol you'll never catch me wearing that gangsta shit why can't they make hats for regular people" argument a few too many times on this board.
What do you mean, New Era? I don't want any of that American shit tainting our club! What's wrong with the regular caps anyway?Remember the uproar when the club first publicised they were getting them in?
"THEY ARE TOO GANGSTA"
"WHERE IS THE TEAL"
"THIS IS A HORRIBLE DECISION"
"MY DAD WONT WEAR THIS"
"WHERE ARE THE OPTIONS FOR PEOPLE WHO DONT WANT TO LOOK LIKE GANGSTAS WITH HAT-HATING FATHERS"
We only had 12 other designs in the megastore at the time that incorporated teal, the fist device, the Power logo, the chevrons and everything in between.
And the New Era caps sold like hotcakes. But no, let's listen to Joe and Josephine Homebrandfrozenpizzaenthusiast and status quo the shit out of everything.

I'm insanely frustrated at the fact that we are doing great caps now, because caps look ******* ridiculous on my head. Why do I have to be one of those people.

I am 40...I love the new era caps, have a Raiders one, but I don't wear it as I don't want to look like one of those old nongs trying to look hip..Would like a Port one, but really, what is the cutoff age?
You don't look a day over 45 though....There is no cut off age. Go into any bar in any US city and every old codger is wearing one, usually perched on the very top of his head. It's a hat ffs.
I'm pushing 46. If it's good enough for Clark Griswold it's good enough for me.
I'm 46 and wear my black PA cap almost everywhere.
I did take the stickers off and curled the brim like an out of touch nerd, though.
This. Although replace 46 with 36 and its me.
Was in New York on our honeymoon just as the Yankees won the World Series... Bought a NY cap and literally in the store took the sticker off and started to curve it. The look of disgust by the people in there was priceless.
Perhaps it will take getting used to, I've never been a hat guy and up until this winter a beanie guy either, but it's grown on me.I used to think the 59-Fifty was too big for my head, but by geez it looks good and I wear them everywhere now.
I'm not really a hat guy but have 3 of the PA New Eras and a Patriots one (m8 <3) that I wheel out on occasion.
No stickers and only an ever-so-slight brim curl.

So I've got my father-in-law visiting from overseas atm. I want to get him a guernsey. On TV, these things look as tight as a Nun's... leggings.
He's probably had a bit more bacon over the years than a doctor would like but he's not that tall. What's the deal? Do I need to get him an XL, or even XXL?
for me: Normal Sizing - L
ISC Sizing - XXL
