Yeah my first monogram cap is more of a faded chocolate and dirty white these days.
The replacement I bought is nice and black but the hat itself isn't as good quality.

You're in Melbourne so I assume you are looking online? Call them. The stock in the physical store at Alberton is totally different to what they have in the warehouse where the online stuff gets sent from. I called a few weeks ago to get a few caps and they definitely had white on black snapbacks in stock.

I haven't heard anything, but I just get this gut feeling that New Era won't be doing Port PA stuff now they are a sponsor of Richmond.

AFL site doesn't sell the PA stuff anymore.

I wouldn't have thought that would make too much of a difference, I don't see how Richmond would have any sort of exclusivity.

We had the PA caps available well before the AFL range was released.

I'd absolutely lose my shit if they stopped producing them. That would be letter writing petition organising time.

I hope you are right. I've tweeted a few New Era Australia peeps, and they just don't reply.

It came into my mind because they only have Black/Black 9Fifty and Pink/Black 9Forty available online.

Don't know how accurate this is but I was told by the girl at the Port Store that they have moved away from the 59fifty and will only be producing 39thirty fitted and 9fifty snapbacks in the future.

though the quality / fading issues with our New Era caps are pretty rubbish, ive never had that issue with any other New Era cap ive bought, and ive got plenty

My black on black is as black as the day we first met 2 years ago and it gets plenty of wear. My original white monogram is however a lovely shade of Murray river brown.
