Me too. I haven't totally given up on the season. Strange things do happen, but this season is getting very close to being all over before it began.

We just didn't football good enough, our playing was bad. The goals need to invite the football into their cavernous zone. It's an auspicious occasion when the football is won for the Coast Eagles of the West.I think QS will agree with me when I say I like how the Eagles from the West Coast played the footballs in the first half (apart from the goal kicking). I'm looking forward to Jarrod Wellington coming in and putting some balls in goals for six points.

Shuey and Selwood have pulled their fingers out which is a big positive for mine, Selwood is back to his 2011 best with 30 tackles in the past 3 weeks.
It really depends on which half you look at though.Priddis' injury. Hear me out.
It showed how much value he has despite his snaildom, we looked terrible at stoppages; however this could become irrelevant if Wellers takes that spot.
It does you're right I was thinking about that, but I still think even in the first half the loose men at the back glossed over our crapness at clearing the ball. Once that party was shut down, the extraction problem seemed pretty apparent. It really depends on which half you look at though.

Pretty much, we were all over the Port mids in the first half and vice versa in the second half. I reckon if we add Sheppard and Wellingham to the rotation we could be a bit more damaging without Priddis. But thats if Sharrod has the impact i hope he will.

Hope, he should replace Dalzeil and make a bigger contribution, or Hams, etc
strong finish to the season,??
Have draft picks been mentioned?
Brown was ok. Being in with EMac alows Glass to be more attacking. But we lack the small fast defender. Interesting to see EMac is as fast as any we have when chasing. We need to revise our strategy for the small fast forwards. Lets say play on them?

This. As another poster said, we have a track record of bringing guys in on reputation rather than form. At least Dalziell actually looked like AFL standard last night (it may be a one off, who knows). SpaceClef you can pay me later.I was encouraged by Dalziell. Played a very good game last night and absolutely deserves another game.
