We're only 2 players away from what will be an elite spine, there's no doubt that Schache, Hipwood and Andrews will make it, so if Hipwood stays forward we'll need another monster KPD (and viceversa if he ends up playing back) and also a ruckman obviously. Here's hoping that the last KPP is already on our list eg Skinner, Hammertime etc. Not too sure about the Rucking situation though.
The club really rates Skinner! All the blokes seem to really get along with him also! Could be a massive still for us at pick 47 or whatever he went at! 197cm and just about to turn 19! You would have to think they will give him a taste this year! He has the frame to be an absolute monster!

Has had no preseason and only just coming back from injury. I'd rather us be a bit careful with him and let him have the rest of the year building confidence in his body again in the two's

Agree however hammelman was far from ready even though he has had alot more time then skinner. Its a weird situation as leppa seems to want to see as many as he can but i cant see him dropping hammer after one game. Me personally wouldnt mind seeing skinner this year maybe in rounds 20 and on.

Skinner also coming off a long term injury, so would be best if he can just play some form of footy every week and see out the year. I wouldnt worry about senior game unless his form demanded it.

Let him get the feel back and relaunch with a strong preseason.

Not sure where to put this but I just tucked my oldest boy in bed and he was cuddling his sherrin and asked me to sing the club song.
Do you remember the words.
Agree with Jansen, best game for the club. The pack mark he took in the last quarter was brilliant.
Keep hammer in and let him have a go at it for a month or so. Worse comes to worse drop Mcstay as this man frustrates the hell out of me with his lazy second efforts. Don't know where he belongs as a forward or back or nowhere?

I must admit i did struggle at first.

Mcstay IMO is a forward. We just have no one to take his spot. Has all the attributes of an awesome swingman. Just goes missing too often.

Years ago w had to travel to France with our three month old (unavoidable family stuff). At that stage her calming/lullaby routine was us humming the lions song. Took us a while to work out the odd looks we were getting - the lions song is to the tune of the French national anthem.

As another positive I saw 8 or 10 of your players at the local on Sunday. Well behaved, drinking sensibly, no bad language, no scandalous behaviour. Made me wonder what has happened to the world.

No kebabs. A few questionable haircuts. And while I appreciate rolled up pants and no socks are taking their last fashionable breath I don't know why anyone would wear them on a 10 degree afternoon in Melbourne.
You can take the boys out of Brisbane but you can't take the Brisbane out of the boys...

When you bust your ass all preseason to get those beach ankles, you take any chance that presents itself.
