No kebabs. A few questionable haircuts. And while I appreciate rolled up pants and no socks are taking their last fashionable breath I don't know why anyone would wear them on a 10 degree afternoon in Melbourne.
Who knew that Milhouse still had such an effect on current fashion trends. Either that or they're perpetually preparing for the next Brisbane flood

We are slowly but surely finding out who the right man is for the job.
I'm not entirely sure it is the worth 79 pages of "discussion". The positive will be when we can shutdown that thread!! On that note, if Leppa survives the year can we close the thread... because surely then we would know he is the man for the job!

I know it's a tiny sample size but I was up in Brisbane today and ducked into the open training session they had on, the boys still seem a really tight unit, seems like a bunch of mates. I can sort of get that vibe that has made someone like Mayes change his mind on where he wants to play. As bad as the on field stuff is at the moment, it doesn't seem to be breaking the group apart, which is really good.

Said it in the Ben Keays thread, but he's a fantastic bloke, warm, seemed genuinely interested in the fans. He spent a good 5 minutes speaking to one older lady, really articulate. A fair amount of footy players don't carry themselves amazingly but he's different. Early days but he honestly comes across as someone you could slap the captaincy on and be super happy with, his love for the club and his respect for the fans is palpable. Definitely have a good one in him.

Club must be stoked with how he carries himself, things like that are the intangibles that help you build successful footy clubs. Watching the young kids train today it's hard not to push your mind to the future, seems so bright if we can keep them together.

Dany Daly's analysis of our game day and where we are at - brings a realistic perspective to our journey, as unpalatable as it is...it is pretty clear we have a plan and Leppa has a tough gig. To have so much youth, so many debutants and have Beams, and Bundy on the side-lines doesn't help but it is what it is. I thought Leppa making mention of the fact that two of the most experienced coaches in the comp have teams that share the bottom 3 spots on the ladder was a telling comment.

Nick Maxwell is up there with Storm....he also mentors/advises their players, as well as GWS.

..seems to be doing ok.....would like to see him with us.

Couldn't stand him as a player, but gee he has impressed me when talking on the radio.

Neither but I completely changed my mind after meeting him couple of years ago. Really nice guy.
