12 rounds to go, is as near as I can get. As it is nearly impossible to find positives within the realms of (Lions) footy, I've had to wander a little further, and a tad aimlessly in order to find some world class positives. Firstly I can assure you from first hand experience that the world is an infinitely more disturbed arena than the MCG. Etihad or the Gabba. Sepp (the) Blatter has been fired and Eccelstone will follow suit shortly, my palmist advises. Juan Antonio Samaranch will also depart...(if he hasn't already). Hopefully, they can take Judd and Alan Bond with them. Stay positive.

I have also discovered that watching AFL 360 with very no sound, watching re-runs of the Lions winning anything, YouTubing Beyonce, doing the business finances, editing home video, and possibly watching an episode of Hogan's Heroes, all simultaneously on triple 27 inch monitors with a megalithic computer sets a very conducive environment for playing online poker. It must be my abject indifference to the footy, but I have been kicking some big goals of late playing cards. The more distractions, the better. Hip Hip Hoorah.

Ask any question about the performance last night ?

I should of but whats the point. They will feed me the company line, you can guess how that would go.........the performance last night was unacceptable and we can't let that happen again yarda, yarda, yarda, our supporters deserve more.... yeah, yeah, yeah.

Sick of talk, time for our actions to start meaning something.

Good family day all the same, but in answer to your question no i didn't ask.

  • Impressed with McStay and so were the commentators! The consensus was, I think we may have found our man!

  • After going behind early we battled well to get back in it, in the 2nd quarter and early in the 3rd. 9 points behind and we were looking good, running them ragged for a while (OK a *little* while). Similar-ish position to the game against Carlton except in that one we kicked on, I wonder what the difference was?

I will pay Harris Andrews as a positive. I am really struggling to find any others at the moment though.
  • Guaranteed not to lose more than 7 more times for the year
  • theoretically... we should receive a 'reasonable' fixture
  • yep worth repeating, Harris Andrews

Grill'd and Schnitz are always good.

Hard not to get excited about Andrews, never seen a first year KPP do the things he can do in their first year. He embarrasses much more experienced players with his ability to read the flight of the ball, not only that but he is a one grab player. They always talk about how late in the draft Hird and Grant were taken, they'll be saying the same about Andrews in 20 years time.

Yeah I agree - I generally try to edge on the side of caution with 1st year players but with Andrews I genuinely struggle to see how he doesn't end up one of the premier backmen in the comp with the obvious exception of injury

Highlights of past players on you tube. Type in Jared Brennans first afl game and also aker two goals in two minutes. Sensational.
