I love Schache's ability to just contest the ball in the air. He has taken some good marks, but the ones he doesnt take, he doesnt get out marked, he makes a contest and brings ball to ground.

Taylor is going to flourish under this faster ball movement style of play. He naturally plays on quickly, and that got him in trouble in previous years as the team wasnt set up. Now that we are streaming forward and have targets up forward to move the ball quickly to, he is being more productive and damaging with the ball. I really love the thought of Bundy, Squiz and Zorko running the ball quickly through the middle.

I think lewy has matured a fair bit this year, he seems to be making better decisions and not running himself into as much trouble. He plays his 47th straight game out of 47 he has been eligible for since coming to the club. Pretty impressive.

I'm looking forward to going along to the d/n test. I can see the ball doing too much though. I do think the Gabba test needs something different - for me the teams we get and time of year lead to some contests that feel pretty flat.

We have got the trip to WA and Geelong out the way just 3 Rounds into the season and we don't have a trip to Tasmania. We have consistently got flogged at those locations over the past few years. You feel like we are a chance at every other Venue albeit a small one at certain ones against certain teams. We don't have a trip to the SCG either!
