Paparone stepped up and kicked a few goals.

Lewy Taylor is a quick little guy - his disposal is quickly improving.

Aish is looking very grounded as well.

West is a very good pickup.

Yep, Paparone is the one I get some hope from. Last week he copped some unwarranted knocks, but at the ground I thought he showed plenty. Was good again today.

Lester's clearance work has been first rate. Mayes' footy IQ really is next level. Whenever he gets the ball good things happen, he just didn't get enough of it today. I think he might need a run in the middle.

Our young players in Mayes, Aish, Taylor and Paparone are going OK. All four are showing enough to suggest they well and truly belong at this level now.

At the start if the year only Mayes seemed a definite. The other three now look like they can all make it. They just need games now.

All four, when they have fifty games under their belts could be great players. We just have to get the games into them and get their signatures on contracts.

I don't think anybody said definite and I think it was just speculation as he was young and from WA.
