Yeah, love the effort. Teams that bring the pressure expose his lack of polish but he's a good chunk of marble for Leppa to sculpt.

Green just seems to be itching for quick delivery and he will be very very explosive. Right now be has to create a lot of his own opportunities. When they start getting handed to him he is going to put the fear of god into every small defender who has to try to stop him.

You can almost see Justin Clarke learning every game. He shows a little more poise all the time.

Robbo is raw but just does not quit.

... is that a positive. If our team doesnt want to give Cutler a pat on his back for his 1st goal? (or maybe 2nd) then that is pretty poor by the tammates, irrespective if they are losing.

I was almost going to say it was somewhat similar, to that Suns player against us a few weeks back, but couldn't think of his name...Lemon or something.

Cutler's kick was tougher, but that Suns players 'sell' was more exuberant.

Cutler definitely has the qualities we want. If we could fast forward three years with these young guys, they will be stronger and more experienced and ripping teams apart.

We can't fast forward so just enjoy the little moments until they morph into games of that quality.

And they will.

Mayes - Aish - Robbo - Taylor - Cutler our future 2nd tier mids backing up Zorko - Green - Lester - Redden - Rich - Rocky - Hanley. Plenty of class in that outfit. Just need another few years. 3Rs will be near 150 games, 2nd tier players hitting that magic 50 mark. We will have a very powerful midfield in the future.

Will certainly get a top KPF this year in the draft, and we just need one of Close/Freeman/Paine/Hammelann (sp) to be able to play 2nd fiddle. On field we will improve over the next 2-3 years. If we can get our off field sorted, we will be fine.

While I'm not a Star Wars fan, I LOVE the fact that the Lion Empire guy is wearing our proper jumper, would also be interesting if that logo top right is our logo next year

Unless of course they are running around for other teams after having served their apprenticeship with us.

I have very real concerns that we could potentially turn into nothing more than a feeder club if we're unable to retain this current crop of youngsters we have from the couple of drafts.

On the positive side though, Trent West again underlined his importance to the side after another solid display.

Helped us to a Premiership all those years ago, and I still love every error Rhys dishes up.

Claye Beams should be back very soon. Really think with some luck he can be a quality player for us. Versatile and can play inside and outside mid.
