agree, very frustrating stuff. when we go missing in the mids we look like witches hats at the centre clearances.

How many games have you seen Petrevski-Seton play?

None, but l have read his reports and apparently his inside numbers aren't the best. For all l know, he could come out next game and kill it on the inside but based on what he has done so far (from reading the articles on him and his numbers) how he is more of a silky outside player. This, imo, is not our primary need atm. We need more leaders and CP beasts.

Another game of experience...as long as we learn from it.

I also think that each debut gives us a chance to assemble another element in what is a very long term plan. The signs are certainly good for Schache and Keays. Hopefully we will see Mathieson soon and perhaps later in the year Hipwood and maybe Skinner. Along with Andrews, Cutler, Robertson, McGrath, Taylor, Gardiner, McStay, William and Dawson if they can develop, that is a fair bit of our future.

Not disagreeing entirely but most inside players get the football regardless of structure. Why do you think dayne beams is so dominant even in a poor team. Because he knows where the ball is.

On the coaching staff. Its hard to say how ineffective they are. Watching those stoppages last night was worse then pulling teeth. The way we set up isnt offensive nor defensive.

In all honesty I was so bitterly disappointed yesterday in the result but in hindsight it was probably because I was a bit ahead of myself, we are a much better team at home and will realistically win 4/5 games at home this year. We are an awful team on the road however and will likely only win 1-2 games on the road. That puts us at that 6 game win record for the year which is about where our development is at at the moment. I expect a strong showing and for a few of the players that performed poorly to bounce back. This week will show if we have taken the next step in our development which is that we are extremely hard to beat at home. Time will tell though

I have no idea why and no justification for it at all at this stage, but every time I see him or listen to him or hear something about him I can't help but smile.

I just have a feeling we might have picked up a true old school "clubman" in him who appreciates the club and his opportunities... and we'll be all the better for it.
