Welcome. You are officially part of the Over 50's Clique. We are a wise group, with a deep appreciation of our game, developed through close observance of the great moments, great players and great changes in VFL / AFL football over the last 50 or so years.
There's the problem. I'll never remember where it is.Should we start an Over 50's Clique Thread in The Den? It could be a place where we could post our pieces of nostalgia, images of memorabilia, reflections on the old days of the VFL, great games we have attended, champion players we have seen etc, etc.

Didn't Hoggy score 3 in this one, his biggest 'haul' at Fitzroy?Love Hoggys "handpass" and Superboot laughing in the background
I'm 57 although I can offer nothing pre 2000 as that is when I was converted from a Broncos, Rugby League loving heathen to an enlightened Brisbane Lions loving AFL devotee.I'm in. That way we could could have a clique which was comprised of long time students of the game. We would bring a Yoda like authority to our board. We could accommodate members who had seen club legends like Kevin Murray, John Murphy, Gary Wilson, David McMahon, Warwick Irwin, Bernie Quinlan and other champion players like Bob Skilton, Ron Barassi, Keith Greig, Ted Whitten, Alex Jesaulenko, Kevin Bartlett, John Nicholls, Royce Hart, Robbie Flower, Francis Burke and so many other greats actually play.
You saw the light just at the right time!I'm 57 although I can offer nothing pre 2000 as that is when I was converted from a Broncos, Rugby League loving heathen to an enlightened Brisbane Lions loving AFL devotee.
BTW - you are an automatic selection for the Over 50 Clique.I'm 57 although I can offer nothing pre 2000 as that is when I was converted from a Broncos, Rugby League loving heathen to an enlightened Brisbane Lions loving AFL devotee.

Yep, the Super League war turned me off RL and the Lions were starting to show something so I went along to my first live game in 1999 IIRC and loved it I then went to a game v Collingwood in 2000 when Vossy kicked that long torpedo goal and the rest is history. You saw the light just at the right time!
I am so proud.BTW - you are an automatic selection for the Over 50 Clique.
