The only positive is the youngsters are getting more ball. Monfries is developing as well. People bagged us for picking him that high in the draft but IMO he is a player that we can rely on week in week out. Look I may get blasted for this but apart from being crap what is Peverill doing in our side? I lost count of how many clangers from him directly led to goals, he can't kick, his handball is rubbish..and yet he is in our starting 22!
My oppinion is that Pevrill is actually doing alright. He usually uses the ball effectively
maybe when he handpasses, lobbing his kicks up for easy spoils isn't really effective
Ryder was fantastic last night IMO.
Hille showed he can get a bit of the ball around the ground, much like Cox and Lade, his ruckwork needs help however.
MJ showed some form just in time, he was one of our best.
Houli showed enough to keep his place, will get better with time.
CJ was very quick, quicker than I thought. His move to the backline wasn't totally fruitless, he showed he still just wanted to get the ball at all costs.
Lucas back in some sort of form.
Watson, best game of the year. Will be one of the best clearence players in the league soon.

Great shot of Pev in the Herald Sun taking that pack mark in our back half last night.
Getting the ball BUT not kicking straight AGAIN

True
I saw Pev drill a few kicks onto his team mates chests a few times and i was actually quite impressed. He doesn't really do it as much these days.maybe when he handpasses, lobbing his kicks up for easy spoils isn't really effective

His kicking is actually good, the action doesn't look that great but it gets the job done msot of the time.

We have been crap all year and we still have had won the same amount of games as you.

Courtney Johns made several attempts at "pretending" he was tackling a player on the move. Love the kid for his "inspirational" comeback to footy, but off the back of a couple of half "ar**d" attempts at the man, I now think we should call him the Titanic. If he was at the Lockett end of Telstra dome and there was an iceberg at the Coventry end, he still would be too slow to get out of the way of it....!!
Gee, so even contested marks are cheap these days are they?Johns is hopeless watse of space, 4 kicks kicked a cheap goal in the last quarter but provides nothing at CHF or anywhere on the forwardline, lucas was our only forward in first half he needs help when 3 men a coming across from all angles to spoil scotty. I think laycock is better of down in the goalsquare instead od coming on and off foield all the time, drop johns and give laycock a full game with lucas in the goalsquare and he can change with hille when he's outta gas.
