After 8 rounds of the Home & Away season, Freo are 4 wins 4 losses.
Using the current Ladder positions, Freo have beaten the 13th, 14th, 15th & 16th placed teams and lost to the 1st, 2nd, 8th & 9th teams.
At the start of the season, Freo were even money to win just 8.5 games for the season.

That is, I would suggest that most of us at the start of the season, would have taken this if it was offered.

I’d like to mention the 2 Pearces. We have a lot of indigenous players at the club and we can all agree they have a lot more to overcome in life be it from societal prejudice, troubled family members etc.. AP has come back from a couple of legs and is in the leadership group shows a hell of a lot as to the type of young man he is. DP for all the crap he gets about his kicking has been nothing short of the ultimate professional. He could easily thrown in the towel, thought he was too experienced to play at peel etc.. but his application has been nothing short of sensational.

We are going to celebrate indigenous round in a bit and all the talk will be about the flair, skill and dash... while that’s all well and good it’s the attitude and work ethic of the 2 pearces that are a shining light to indigenous youth

Depends who is going. Top end of this draft is pretty exciting. Rankine, Rozee, Hately, Hill. All of them mids who can kick goals.

Could take a King and hope they bulk up quick enough to be useful before Fyfe retires.

Nothing has changed much from last season or the year before. We need more quality through the middle. Hopefully Cerra and Brayshaw are that.
