Well a positive for the community is that I've spent time developing and scouring Youtube and made playlists of all available Dockers footage from EVERY SINGLE SEASON and divided them into playlists by season. Whether it's full games, highlights (sometimes only opposition highlights), but I think I've now managed to put together every piece of Fremantle footage on YouTube from every season into different playlists. All the way from 1995 to now.

Quite a lot of the seasons only have about half of the games available, but it's still quite amazing to have all that history in one place.

I get we're all flat, but just consider all the players out of form and all those who have higher levels to get to. And yet, we've been in all but 3 games (Cam game doesn't count IMO and we won the return games of the other two proving they were just bad days) and in front during Q4 for about half our losses.

There is a staggering amount of room for improvement in so many players going forward. No doubt some won't get it done, but many will.

We had two terrible performances (Dogs and Eagles) where we didn't show up. Also the Cam game which I think is an anomoly..

Literally every other loss is by 13 or less. Most on the road to top 8 teams.

We're a lot better than it feels like right now.

And in most of those losses we were in winning positions in the third or more often than not, fourth quarter. We were in winning positions against both port and Carlton in the last two minutes even!

Being able to get in those sort of positions is huge for a young list. Learning how to stay there - or put the foot down and keep building on those leads is what will come with more experience.

When we can kill a game when we are in front without having to think about it, look out!

I don’t get this.

Teams that get smashed 3 weeks in a row in clearances usually lose big in the scoreboard.
The midfield needs to step the **** up, and contribute. Players need to get working for each other.

V Sydney, North and St Kilda combined:

Clearances
90-128

Centre clearances
27-39

That’s horrendous numbers. Break even at least and it goes a long way.

Even lucky to be within 11 points today. Could’ve been behind by 5 goals to not get a chance.

Lose to Collingwood, Bulldogs is okay.
Port Adelaide away should be a formality- the team is decimated with injury.

Believe Adelaide have a tough draw.
Next week is Western Bulldogs - who ll be very keen at Marvel.

Giants have Geelong this week, Sydney in two weeks (who may well be on the upswing and fighting for finals), Bulldogs week after that, and Gold Coast too.

Suns- Collingwood at home, Adelaide away, Brisbane, with Giants to finish up.

It’s still very possible, but cannot slip up from this point onwards.
