Geelong the home and away specialists have everyone fooled once again. Not only do they have the Kardinia Park factor they were gifted 4 wins and huge percentage playing North & Eagles twice. Their September form speaks for itself.

Melbourne will come good. Brisbane should come good. Carlton still has 6 of their best 22 to come back including an actual tap ruckman. Everyone else is making up the numbers.

So wait, Geelong will fail in September because they have in the past but Brisbane who are worse in September "Should come good" and Carlton who never play in September are also a chance

If you take games played on the weird shaped oval down at Kardinia Park out of the equation, as well as all of the bottom sides they've beaten with their soft draw, what have Geelong actually done?

Beaten by the Swans. Beaten by the Hawks. Beaten by Freo. Beaten by St Kilda. Barely fell over the line against Richmond, Dogs & Port.

Literally their only "good" win this year was against a Carlton side who pick and choose when to turn up and were missing 8 of their best 22.

The bigfooty sheeps need to stop thinking whatever the media tells them to. Take Geelong away from Kardinia Park and they are average at best. Out in straight sets.

But I never mentioned anything about any of that.

I asked how Brisbane who are worse in September than Geelong is a contender based on "September form speaking for itself" or Carlton who never play in September are somehow a contender despite never actually having September form.

yeah take away all the bottom sides we've beaten and we'd be 0-4. Bottom of the ladder!

Collingwood and Sydney are going to cause some big issues if they play their best footy.
Collingwood's last 5 weeks has them beating 15th by 11, 12th by 5, 18th by 7, 16th by 5 and now 14th by 4. If this is their best footy I don't think any team in the top 8 will be too worried.

10-2 in our last 12 at the G
Wish we got to play at the G more. Don't take this the wrong way but the Cats are bloody fortunate to have not only their own home ground fortress but the ability to consistently play at the heart of football. Which you guys have played the G well.

Our last 12 games at the G is across the span of 2014 to 2022, for reference. That's almost 3 different lists.

9th for percentage too. Just above Port and GCS. Exciting team to watch though.

lol, you don't think Geelong would be worried about facing them week 1 of finals?
This is the same smug attitude many of our supporters had in 2019 when we faced Collingwood in the QF having finished the year as minor premiers.

I'll let you in on a little secret - I'm a supporter of the club, I don't play for them so I have no impact on the results. My attitude has literally zero bearing on any result and the fact that you think it does really worries me.
