I'm sure I could have done it, but I had a sh*t teacher in year 10 for chem so gave it the arse.

Oh yeah same (i preferred Biology and did that in VCE), I just loved balancing equations. I would set it up as a table/list, and then side by side write the same elements next to each other. Then just adjusted the numbers accordingly

I avoided chem like the plague, physics and maths were my wheelhouse
I loved Chemistry until it all became about memorising elements and their associated numbers
then it was just a waste of brain storage capacity for something that could clearly be seen on a poster if required
