Tigerturbulance
245kg of Love Muscle
In a move that will send shockwaves through the Sweet FA, the Ophidian Old Boys have announced the triumphant return of OOBs inaugural bad pussy Bonz for Season 41. After 251 games, countless innuendos, and more saucy cat gifs than the internet could reasonably handle, the league’s most controversial feline is back in his natural habitat Spotswood.
Bonz, a two-time Premiership Winning Full Forward and Fred Medalist donned the Old Boy hoops seasons 34 to 36, helping secure the OOBs first famous Season 35 Premiership in only the clubs second season. He then padded off to the Dragons in Seasons 37 and 38, before scratching around the Hippodrome with the Furies in Season 39. Bonz declared retirement at the end of S39 with a dramatic flourish and flick of his tail taking a one-season sabbatical, leaving behind his B&D dungeon which now doubles as a storage room at Spotswood.
When asked about his return, Bonz purred: “I’m one of the more controversial posters in the league but generally high on activity. I bring cat gifs, fencing references, cocktail recipes, and general weird behavior. And yes, I’m reclaiming jumper number 69 – it’s been waiting for me in storage like an expensive bottle of champaign ready to pop and make the crowd wet.”
Clubs Left Scratching
Several rival clubs had sniffed around for Bonz’s services, but none could figure out how to properly stroke the pussy. It took the big pink hands of 245kg of love muscle to really make the Bonz purr. The Furies tried to tempt him back with promises of dumpster fires and chaos, the Wonders offered a reach around and the Royals a slightly smaller throne than Robertio has, but in the end, only the Old Boys knew where to scratch and how to rub Bonz whiskers just right.
Legacy Secured
Bonz’s jumper number 69, long mothballed at Spotswood in anticipation of this inevitable comeback, will be dusted off and proudly worn once more. His legacy as the league’s naughty, sexy pussy who gleefully pushes AdSense censorship boundaries is set to continue much to the delight of OOB supporters and the horror of rival clubs who missed out. Season 41 has just got dangerous, hilarious, and very, very weird.
