My oldest is in the UK atm playing cricket for 6 months. He is in London on Monday and Tuesday. I hope he makes the effort to go see procession if he can.

Her presence on the coins is no more reason to worship her as it is to worship a mob of kangaroos. It's a recognition that it is more than some British person on the other side of the world. That fact can be decried it but it can't be dismissed.
