Birthday present for one year old? I got her a Wisden last year, but I'm not forking out $100 this year.

It's of no use to them yet but I got my nephew the complete collection of Roald Dahl for his Christening. Thought it was a nice keepsake. It did cost around $80 though.

Otherwise maybe something like those practice toy/walkers. They'll be standing up soon.

It's a cricket annual published every year since 1864. A Wisden in their birth year is my go to gift for newborns.

thats sweet (and boring)
i'm due to become an uncle early next year, i'll be blessing my neice or nephew with forced indoctrination to the Bluebaggers.

Cooking nachos is the worst. The worst.

Is like a murder scene in the microwave- will have to attend to it tomorrow.

If you weren't such a grub, you wouldn't HAVE to worry about cleaning the microwave now would you, champ?

I accidentally put softener in the soap bit of my washing machine. Am I going to die?
No but you will be noticeably more pleasing to touch.

Flying to Melbourne tomorrow. Got a mate who asked me to get him a rugby jersey. Can I just get one at any mall or do I have to find a Rebel Sport or something?
It's called a Shopping Centre m8. Notify border force asap to turn you back at customs.

Most "malls" have a Rebel Sport so if it's Storm or Wallabies or Melbourne Rebels you'll be fine. Out of all these the Rebels or Wallabies one would be my preference and they're all about $150.
