Good question. Haven’t bought such socks for ages. Think I got them from Costco. I’d be more than happy with Kmart ones.

Work. I usually just get them from the supermarket when they are on sale but lately I've been wondering if there are better options out there.

My guess is the son of John Elliott thinks he's in the position he is because of his own ability rather than his surname which in my mind is delusional. If he was John Smith he'd be schlepping away through life like the rest of us.

My experience of those in that cohort is that yes, they do.

I'm reminded of the frequently trotted out anecdote from a multi-millionaire acquaintance:

I have no additional insight into the Elliott lad other than him being magic sperm.

(1) what does Tom Elliott actually do? - Hosts a tabloid-style, outrage-bait talkback radio show on 3AW. Used to scribble a bit for the Hun. He has a veneer of civility, a tendency to state the obvious and a voice ill-suited to broadcasting.

(2) why do people listen to him? - For similar reasons to why some people listened to Alan Jones, subscribe to the Strayan, or watch Rowan Dean on Sky.

I’m guessing you want to stay in NSW? I’ve always thought the Sapphire Coast is underrated. Probably not the best time of year though. Maybe somewhere relatively nearby. Like a little resort in the Blue Mountains.

Kids are doing a caravan road trip to Alice Springs for 3 weeks, I’m so jealous
I wanna get to Perth to see family and friends, I used to go at least once or twice a year. Hubby finally went over to see his mum a few months ago and he was barely there for 12 hours when they went into a snap lockdown urgh.
