Had a chat to him last night- there is a "story behind the story" that I can't go into on BF (I promised him I wouldn't). Anyway, so the chick isn't speaking to him at all now. He really stuffed it up in how he handled this situation, so I told him she doesn't want to hear this shit. She needs to be comforted and PERHAPS he should tell her how he feels about her.

I recommended he send her some "sorry" flowers to her work and then report back on what happens.

I will keep you updated. I hope it all works out for him srsly.

When we got caught as rebellious high schoolers we just got our drinks confiscated and told to piss off somewhere else.

Sorry to backtrack, but we are so passive in Australia. We rarely if ever properly protest and when it does come to that it's an orderly waste of time used only as social media fodder for the "righteous".

I was amazed when I went to Europe and noted how passionate a lot of cultures are to actually bringing about change through protest not just voice opinions ad nauseum.

And when there is a protest the relevant state government passes more laws to stop them. If we aren't there already, we are rapidly becoming a police state.

But really tho just watch it the original trilogy then the prequels if not in chronological order. Watching it in chronological order may turn you right off by the time the good movies come around though. I have no idea why your friend has suggested such a strange order.

Q. About flat packs.

My ex being the very nice guy he is came over the other day to put together a bedside table for me. Anyhoo- he could not for the life of him attach the hinge to the main part of the drawers. The screw they have supplied just wont attach.

So what is the deal? I go back to Fantastic Furniture? Can you get a refund. I thought these stupid things were pretty fool proof and if I/we are having issues with the product, surely other people out there are too.

The only thing is he's been mucking around with it with an electric drill, so the product isn't exactly as it used to be now..
