Well I've completely stuffed up. Was meant to re-enrol for uni by 5pm today, was planning to do it this morning but got called into work and forgot about it completely.

Reading all this information now saying you've got to convince them why you should continue to study at uni. Surely I'll be able to get back in?

Have the possibility of moving house, but earlier this year I got a Foxtel box installed in my current room. Am I able to unplug it and take it with me if I go, and would it cost me anything?

Tell them you're moving and would like to cancel your subscription as with the costs of moving etc you cant afford it. They'll offer to reconnect for free and also probably throw in some extras.

Since we've been together 8 years we did end up sharing finances ect. Well she wants me to pay her out of half the furniture, whats the go here? thousands of dollars. Keep in mind my earnings were about twice as much as hers so i did "pay a bit more" then her for things

Pretty sure she's entitled to half of everything. You only have to live with someone for 12 months now I think.

The only things you might have in your favour are it might be what the furniture is worth now not what you paid for it or you could offer to give her half the furniture instead and what are the chances she'll lawyer up to get what's hers? If not high then I'd tell her to **** off. You don't dump someone via text after 8 years.

What is the etiquette regarding other peoples bins on bin night.

Tonight is bin night here, just took the dog for a walk... naturally enough she took a shit, given the location she picked I had to pick it up.. given that bins are out for collection does that mean it's ok to drop the bag in one? Or should I carry the thing until either home or seeing a public bin...

I carried it in the end for 3 blocks until seeing a bin in a park

Nah a shit in bag is alright. Just drop it in. Unless they're standing there watching you. Maybe hang onto it a bit longer if that's the case.

Without any real evidence I would assume Bluetooth would last longer.
