I don't know what the issue is so unfortunately I can't give you the solution.

I can tell you quite emphatically that should a complete stranger have hit one of my kids, it may have resulted in them drawing last breath.

big no no. dont even think about contemplating that. however, if child was damaging your home, a firm grab of arm and advising them that it is not good is what's needed. then go nuts at the parents.

I bought a 1998 Civic in 2006, pretty much perfect condition but "surprise surprise" things turned up in the road worthy. Cost me several hundred dollars, I can have a hunt around in the car manual/papers for an exact amount if you want.

IIRC it was maybe around 600ish. I'm going to check to see if I'm right anyway.

Come to Adelaide, no roadworthy test, and a fifteen year old car is still considered nearly new.

Should only be around 150 for the actual road worthy though. If there is any work needed thats when the cost obviously goes up.
