my tv is wall mounted about 5 metres away from my bed/couch, i've tried an unreasonably long cable and it hasn't worked.

most likely you didn't log out from a public computer (uni) and someone has gone on. if that is the case could have been worse.

is it possible to run one prepaid mobile account through two sims and two phones?

a guy at work has given me a smartphone, but given my track record of losing phones over the years i would like to keep my old shit phone for when i go out on the piss because i can guarantee smartphone will be lost within 6 months. i could change sim's before heading out but that is a pain in the ass, and also the clock on the shit phone will keep resetting itself... i've discovered a thing called multi-sim but not seeing anyone in australia offering it.

failing that does anyone know any cheap pre paid plans that are heavily focussed on data? I'll use that for the smart phone, and continue to use the shit phone for texting/calling etc,.

the other option is just to not lose/break smartphone but that is just highly unlikely.

I believe you are able to produce it a a police station within 24 hours of the request, as long as you can give reasonable justification as to why you don't have it on you - ie. driving a vehicle not registered in your name, emergency, misplaced etc.

Here's hoping that you won't. I seriously don't think you will, the police will have verified it on the VicRoads database. Pretty sure you're in the clear.
