So the club could be in trouble, but the sexual assault case could still go ahead.

I would argue that if I was to go to a club, I would expect everyone to be 18+, and expect the club to do their due diligence to check if she was over 18 or not.

Yeah, no doubt you would be pretty safe if you met at an O18s venue and she told you she was 18. Not sure I can vouch for SG though

unless it's a pretty bright day you'd usually notice some sort of flash in your mirrors. have not been done before but have noticed the flash of others in my mirror, even during the day.

What about when you are in the middle of an intersection, waiting to turn right, but a load of bloody w***ers come thru on the orange/ even red, thus causing you to turn on a red light.

Would you get fined still?

Camera only goes off if you enter intersection after light goes red. The reason is if you try to challenge in court you really have no excuse for entering interesction after light turns red.

You would also have noticed the flash if the camera went off. It's like a lighting flash. Very obvious when you have been snapped.

See this is unfair. Surely has to be an element of a disputed zone. Same thing happened to me the other night where a car slowed down to 20km/h I went past (didn't exceed limit) and the lights went orange about 10 metres from the intersection. Now I could hit the brakes, screech to a halt leaving me in the middle of the interersection or go through. Red came on just as I passed the second set of lights and it is one of those I may have been flashed. (Think I was). Would be pi**( if so and may be a challenge.
