You are pretty much right in the heart of Sydney. Can walk across Hyde Park to the bars of Oxford Street. A long-ish (~2km) walk to Circular Quay. About half that distance to Darling Harbour.

You can walk the CBD itself real easy, it's maybe 3km from Central Station to Circular Quay. Maybe 1.5km from Hyde Park to Darling Harbour.

The problem with Sydney is when you want to go to one or more of the surroundings areas - Bondi, Kings X, Eastern Beaches, Newtown/Inner West, Manly, North Shore - they are all a fair distance apart and getting from one to the other is a pain in the ass.
It's OK. Seems the location is solid.

Girlfriend's 21st in April and this is her present (+ flights). I can get two nights for $315, and looking at the Rydges, it looks like a bargain. Not going until mid April so I'm not sure if we'd even go to Bondi/other beaches.

Thanks for your help mate, much appreciated.

That's a big investment for a girl you haven't been with that long. You'd be hoping to make a return on that investment during the trip would you not?

Not sure where people are seeing this vendetta. Fact is, if SG spoke like this out in a club or whatever, he'd get his teeth kicked in. Better he learn here than on the streets.
Good job in admitting this is the bigfooty equivalent of "kicking teeth in".

What other faux justice are you going to lay your hat on, just so you can feel superior?

Lol what? Im not dishing out any "faux justice". The way he talks about things, women in particular is damn right disrespectful. If he were to get punched in the street because of it I have no doubt that he would be on here bitching about some guy that hit him because he called a woman a bish.

Don't get me wrong, I like the guy, but some of the shit he posts is ridiculous.

You need to lighten up

Get a grip. Your vendetta against SG makes you look like a bigger tool than a bloke who calls girls "bishes".

#standbybishes
Do you want formulate to your own opinion or continue to piggy back on the thoughts of others? Independent thinking. You should try it some time.

Secondly, who is he to even suggest that I would hope to be getting "a return"? Not sure what world he lives in, or you for that matter, but since when does doing something for someone else necessarily mean you want something back? Pathetic attitude to have on life.

And I'd rather look like a tool than call women "bishes".

And by the sound of it, sounds like you aren't against the term either. Aren't you just wonderful?

In their land of rainbows and fairies where calling women bishes is OK.

I don't believe he ever admitted anything of the sort.

Go get some life experience and grow up, and then maybe you might be able to have a reasonable conversation with some adults about derogatory comments toward women.

And the bloke that punches a bloke because he called a figurative girl a "bish" is as much of a tool, as the bloke who insults someone for no reason because of a stupid vendetta.

Lol, I have no clue what I'm supposed to be piggy backing on, and your outrage over a nothing comment is laughable.

You can get offended if somebody calls a woman a bish. Frankly, I don't really care. I don't do it personally, but nor am I surprised that there are blokes who think of women as sexual objects at times.

What's even more laughable thing is that you go out of your way to insult SG over any little thing, just because he calls women 'bishes' at times, as some sort of justice. But at the end of the day, you're just the bigger tosser.

You have a superiority complex :)

The so called "vendetta." Funny how you never mentioned the word until somebody else did :$:$:$:$

And if you think my comments toward SG are insulting then there is not much I can do about that. Sorry pal.

Ill be your white knight turts.
How dare you demean Turtles.

Grow up, get some life experience, and maybe then you can have a respectful conversation with adults without referring to Turtles as a demeaning term like "turts".

(include insult with no context)

All good, I don't get easily offended :thumbsu:

Oh, I'm sure I don't have enough life experience to realise that having a pathetic vendetta against someone over the internet because he calls someone 'bishes' is totally excusable because he thinks it's going to help him in the long run.

Yeah, life experience is sooo useful.

Have you had enough life experience to be going around telling others to go out and get more life experience?

I swear you are the new Silent Alarm.
