Your passport must be valid for at least 6 months after you plan to return.
Also confirm which visas you need to get before leaving Australia.

Ok GD I have a question

I recently got a job but before I did I joined a recruitment agency to try and get me one not knowing that one was going to fall into my lap. So to get me "job ready" in their words they got me to do some mickey mouse course which I completed. Or at least thought I did. Apparently I missed one part of one of the days (which I didn't ) but a few things were stapled to the main sheet which I assume has been lost so they want me to do one of the parts again. The thing is, I don't wanna get nothing from it regardless of what course it is as I spend two weeks doing it but then again I'd probably have to take a day off work to do it. Won't be to hard as I'm casual but working full time (or at least trying to).

Thoughts? Should I finish it?

Unless it's really going to be beneficial for your long term plans I personally wouldn't bother. In fact working with agencies are just about a waste of time. I managed to find my current job online by myself without any assistance from a so called agency.

Checked up on the web when it got dark, saw the huge spider hanging in the middle and then drop down to create another anchor point on the ground. It was amazing watching this thing build it's web, it was absolutely huge too, probably half a meter in diameter. I think it was a golden orb spider

I think it's time to burn the house down.

What does someone have to be to get Govt. plates?

And why do I see so many super expensive cars with them?
What state/city are you in?

Could be anything from department heads with govt cars in their package to MPs to high ranking defence or diplomatic personnel

When asked today what football team I support I obviously said Hawthorn. The response was "yeah you look like a Hawthorn supporter"

So my question is......what does a Hawthorn supporter look like?

The thing immigration will be checking is that you have at least 6 months validation upon arrival (or possibly intended departure - but i think just arrival)

so if you arrive in october 1 2014, then you're passport will have to be valid till at least april 1 2015.

i would also check whether it's upon arrival or intended departure. mine is valid till 2016 and i'll be renewing some time this year so it's not something i've bothered with.
