Nope. I'm talking a proper Melton Mowbray pork pie, in crisp hot water crust pastry, with nice big chunks of real pork, designed to be eaten cold. Preferably on a windswept hill, accompanied by a thermos of tea.

The Coles deli near me has them, but they're terrible.

Pork pies are gross, have you ever tried a gala pie? A pork pie with a boiled egg stuffed in the middle. Are you having some sort of Wuthering Heights moment Caesar?

It's just a very pork pie day on the east coast. I remember the last really good pork pie I had. It was about five years ago. I bought it at Deli Divine in Subiaco, and ate it overlooking Busselton Pier. It was the middle of July, blustery, and I froze my **** off.
