My oldest friend is a lawyer by day, and a woodworker by night. He's made a lot of my bookshelves, he'd know how to do them. You'd have to use a fairly light wood I'd imagine.

This one has a three month old, and isn't very interesting at all at the moment. Lure of Prince tickets if he makes it to Adelaide should prise him away from his admittedly gorgeous daughter.

Nah there is a plate with 2 tubes to support the shelves, the longer ones might have 3. They hardest part I had was sliding the actual shelf onto the tube as the tubes were bent.

If you're lucky enough that it lines of with studs you'll be sweet, otherwise it comes will these plaster screw things.

The thing on the left is from the Witcher, its a dude riding/slaying a griffin. I have some assassins creed figures and obviously batman on the other (all gaming). On the new shelf I have the giant lego batmobiles. The other things are Nintendo Amiibos

I have white on white, I think the brown would have looked odd with everything as it was a different sort of brown to my furniture.

The two lane takeover.... freeway..... highway, anything with two lanes, someone goes around in the right lane but drifts back into left one without indicating. Every time I drive my car I see campaigners doing this now......wtf ?

Very easy - Black/Dark brown shelves on white.

Black walls are quite limiting when looking at the context of the whole room, not to mention you're creating a pretty dark, unoccupied atmosphere anyway.

We don't have black walls...I'm debating white on white or black on white.
