Well, North inconsistent season means that they will most likely beat Hawthorn next week.
With due respect to You & North. NO. NO NO NO NO NO!!!!!!!!!! Will not happen. Hawthorn do not drop games they are expected to win. That is why they are the side they are. To quote Axle Whitehead, " They don't do surprises "
lol, and so they did. won't be surprise if St Kilda beat them, oh that would be hilarious lol.

So its not that i hate Freo, or even him. I just have zero respect for both Lyon and the Dockers. Even the way they recruited him. Yep well done its a ruthless business. But that doesnt excuse morally bankrupt behaviour. And the Dockers 20 years have shown completely unprofessional and laughable standards in recruiting, drafting and player management.
- criticises Freo for a history of unprofessional recruiting
- then criticises Freo for professionally recruiting a top coach because it wasn't a nice thing to do

You can't even keep a straight argument.

Have a feeling that both Port and the Hawks are in heavy training blocks right now leading up to the bye. I'm not trying to make excuses for our loss - or ports - but we looked lethargic last night relative to our usual performances.

Next week V Adelaide will be very hard for the Hawks.
You probably looked lethargic because you lost the pace of Rioli and Hill. Those two out are a massive weakness in the Hawks side.

Congrats on beating Gold Coa...... oh just wait, you didn't.
Congrats on Winning a Fla.......... oh just wait, you haven't.

See other people can do it as well and as Freo have no silverware and very little past success to speak of i wouldn't be bring up past results, but that's just me:cool:

I wouldn't laugh too loud. Swans have a history of ******g up Golden opportunities. Chance to go top a game clear tomorrow but also a massive chance to shoot themselves in the foot.
and it's not as if West Coast are playing really bad footy. They've won 2 of the last 3 and narrowly went down to Fremantle last week so it's by no means a certain win.

Agree that combined they are huge outs and it was a contributing factor to us looking SLOW - however there were many cases where players just did not go for the second effort - where they usually would. Stand by my statement.

Round 15:
1. Hawthorn +1 (11-3, 147.9%)
2. Port Adelaide -1 (11-3, 141.9%)
3. Sydney +0 (11-3, 137.9%)
4. Fremantle +0 (10-4, 132.0%)
So far Hawks have dropped almost 6% and Port dropped 2.5%. Just goes to show even narrow losses can have a big impact. Freo's pounding of Melbourne gave them 5%. This season will most definitely come down to percentage, and I just can't see Hawks or Port maintaining their percentage, especially when both teams have tough games to come.

And our next three weeks is GWS, Saints and Carlton. I know you can't take anything for granted but that looks like a bit of a percentage booster if there ever was one...

Don't rate Carlton, but they did push a couple of contenders this year and just couldn't get over the line. Freo have to be on to win that by a big margin.

The trend prediction of Swans/Fremantle top 2 is shaping up nicely. Swans & Freo win their next two, their just about top 2, maybe Freo still in 4th on percentage. We still need to beat the Eagles and then Carlton & Hawks. Otherwise everyone is on the same wins & percentage separates.

Well I give us absolutely no chance of finishing top 4. This year. But next year when our young side has another pre-season under their belts, watch out...

meh' your not that young. Average age tonight was only a few months less than Essendon's (helps when Fletcher misses).

C'mon West Coast!!!! Would be the perfect weekend of results if they manage to win somehow from a Freo perspective.

seeing how its gonna be a stormy and windy day, they just might. swans suck in the wet
I hope you're right, doesn't look like it's going to be too bad though and if it's dry I can't see WC getting remotely close. A slog in the wet is definitely their best bet as they aren't a terrible contested footy side and their poor skills are less self-harming.

It took Geelong 60 years before winning their first premiership. Whats your point?
