The raiders certs against the Storm

While Melbourne is sending the precious Roos ,and the Saints, to sunny Canberra to do battle on Saturday afternoon,we are sending the Raiders to give the Melbourne Storm a pasting.

I'm going to the St Kilda Social Club to watch the Saints hopefully have a win on Saturday afternoon and then head to Colonial Stadium to the see the Storm and the Raiders.

While I enjoy going to see the Storm play, I would be willing to see a 100 - 0 win by the Raiders as long as the Saints have a win.

I`m saying I was wrong about the Raiders. But it was a helluva game.

Well done to the Storm! I was getting a little worried towards the end of the match but we hung in there and had a great win.

Tim Mander has to be the equivalent of John Harvey!

Of course, as good as the win was by the Storm, I'm still quite devastated over the Saints insipid performance today. The roos played well, however I'm ashamed that the saints could put in such a poor performance for Burkey's 300th. Oh well, I'm used to it by now.

Hopefully the Sorpions can remain undefeated and have a win over the Murray Kangaroos later today.

At last..someone wanting to talk rugby league!!

Joey you were wrong...Storm won (thank God) It sure was a close one in the end Phew!!! Heart attack material, but what a great game..
I think the Storm could have wrapped the game up in the 1st half, but wasted many chances..in reality the score should have been about 40-10..but to the Raiders credit (a really good team they are) they came back and made it a real exciting game.
Robbie Ross did his hammy again. There go his Origin aspirations.

Anyway Sainter commisserations to the Saints I thought they would have won for Nathan as they did for Stewie..
Did you go to the social club afterwards...I noticed a heap of afl people there tonight...which is great I think, because we should enjoy all footy codes (sorry about the preaching) anf there are still so many here in Victoria who do not want to even look at rugby/league/soccer.. they sure are missing out on a lot of pleasure.

The Brumbies were great tonight too.
God I wish Victoria could have a Super 12 team.!!
I'm really looking forward to the Wallabies vs Lions tour.

I think my Dees will go down hard later today..what do you guys think?

The Raiders are not going too well this year. The Storm too must improve to hold onto a top eight position. Robbie Kearns makes a big difference to the Storm side.

Cant complain too much 2 out of 3 with the Green Machine having a dip in the 2nd half.

Another disappointing weekend!

Springvale couldn't even get up for a win today but it was their first loss for the year. I suppose there weren't too many saints listed players in the side either.

I'm going to have a big weekend when the sainters get up for a win. I just don't know when that might be.
