Well we had 'snow' mizzle a few days ago and now tropical thunder type rain.

Seemingly out of nowhere (ok, I wasn’t following the weather forecasts) frequent torrential downpours since midday yesterday, accompanied by bursts of thunder. Looks set to continue for a while yet.
