Keep both hands in your pockets at all times and don't travel out alone anywhere LOL

Nah I've never been, not sure what to expect but I'm looking forward to it. Bit of a culture shock and always good to see other parts of the world as long as you don't get robbed
Been there plenty! I’ll let you know the must visit places. Get ready for the most ****ed traffic in the world. What should be a 20 minute drive from the airport will take the taxi 3 hours in traffic.

A snippet from a new movie called Facing Monsters - big wave surfing in WA.

Think he might have been a bit too far inside on the take off for this wave!!!

That reef looks ominously shallow.

It's the kind of heat that's normal for you guys, but it's very rare for us. Monday and Tuesday next week is forecast for 35 degrees here, with 40 forecast for the south of the country. All time UK high is 38.9, meaning we could have a record. I've only ever experienced 35 degrees in Spain and Greece. Spain and Portugal are currently experiencing temperatures of around 44.

35 is hot even for us. Anything over 30 is still a pretty warm day. A super hot day here is like 42 but they are rare. Right now it's absolutely freezing, 13....so pretty much a normal hot summer day in England.

Depends where you are. I was working in Derby, WA in 2011/12. Sept to Jan was averaging 40 to 45 and radiant heat outside
on a fence 2 metres above a concrete path was 55 ! Ridiculous conditions. You would a walk with a 2 litre bottle of water for
two hours and still lose a lot of weight. Your clothes would be drenched. After I got there I lost 15kg in 3 months. Eating and
drinking well.

Low twenties is a nice summer day. Anything over thirty is a national emergency. We have our first ever red alert from the Met Office for the next few days.

22 to 25 in London is actually quite warm. It feels hotter than it does here for some reason. The funniest was Cornwall, their summer is like Autumn drear here. People were getting around like it was 40 degrees.

Why’d you drive into a no-go zone with George then?

I'm actually the gangster outside

The two in the car are probably gringo and Mowman, loverboys that they are. Talk a big game on BigFooty but then when confronted by a real Don they flap their hands around and psychologically break right infront of your very eyes.

And who can blame them :cool:

Couple of good docos on Netflix lately;

Girl in the Picture
DB Cooper Where Are You
My Daughter's Killer

Girl in the Picture is probably the best one of the three IMO, story is just bizarre

What a sad life her and her brother had eh.

How To Change Your Mind is also a great doco mini-series on psychedelics and their re-emergence into the medical world. Disgraceful what has transpired over the last 60+ years with the outright banning and disinformation being spread. Sounds familiar…

One of those stories that just when you think you know how it ends it changes again. It was ****ed, never seen anything like it.

I saw How To Change Your Mind on there the other day - looks interesting. I'll give it a watch this week. Interesting how the perception of psychedelics has changed over the years. I think the internet and social media has a big part to play in it, given that people can now choose what to consume rather than have to turn on the telly and have the mainstream do the thinking for them.

I saw the preview of that, it looks nuts.
