"The First Amendment isn't absolute"

Imagine being an elected official in that country and saying that. I fully understand in Australia we don't have the right to free speech, but I'll never stop advocating for it. We should all live our lives as if we do have that freedom. It's possibly the most important right available to a human.

Some fun live boxing on Kayo, don't know any of the names, but it's great to see some live combat sports on a Saturday night - it's rare to me.
I'm trying to keep myself awake for Australia's game at 6am but also Fury v Chisora is on at 6am too - will be a boring fight but they've said there will be fireworks in the first round so could be something to watch

Didn't realise that was on at 6am. Is that your guess for the fight itself starts or just when the main card starts?
I think I do myself a disservice by only watching the big boxing PPVs and ignoring everything else. This has been a lot of fun and I reckon the judges aren't going to be as crooked as they are in Vegas.

My intention was to take it easy today and wake up naturally to watch the soccer, but I spent the afternoon drinking hard seltzers in the sun and now I'm on the beers. Fingers crossed Australia can do the impossible tomorrow.

Haha yeah I've been on the beers but had a snooze before so should be okay to last until the morning. 6am is the predicted time for the main event ring walks, but it obviously depends how quickly the fights go before it. I would say you could probably get away with tuning in at 6.30ish. I'm looking forward to the fight before it too, Daniel Dubois is an up and coming heavyweight out of the UK (18-1) and is the strong favourite to beat his opponent Kevin Lerena but the way Lerena has been talking in the leadup actually has me thinking he may cause the upset - reminds me of the way Kambosos was speaking in the leadup to the Teofimo Lopez fight. Pure confidence can really tell he isn't going to back down.

(About 7 mins in it gets good lol)

I agree with only watching the big draws. I went to both Kambosos fights in Melbourne this year and was introduced to some really good, lesser known fighters. Cherneka Johnson was incredible, had a massive cut above her eye early in the fight and toughed it out to win - made a fan out of me.

Women fighting was something I was totally against after I tuned in to watch Cyborg Santos vs Gina Carano, I think it was a Strikeforce event. The UFC bringing women into the organization has changed my view completely, and not just that, some of the most fun events have involved women.

Here's OneFC live broadcasting on Youtube.

Knew that Dubois fight would be a good one. 5 knockdowns in 3 rounds lol. Lerena knocking Dubois down 3 times in the first round had me thinking I had the prediction on the money but he let Dubois back into the fight.

Fury-Chisora bore fest on next

Thanks for putting me onto that Yawkey way - one of the best fights I think I've ever seen. Striking was unbelievable.

Also watched the replay of the Tuivasa fight - christ Pavlovich can hit.

Kanye should take over from Elon IMO

What a nut job. The US is doing a good job of looking like a circus these days.

Did you see snippets of the interview? He's turned himself into a Holocaust denier and Nazi lover. Part of me actually worries about the state he's in mentally, like if he's going through mania or something. Legit insane stuff coming from him lately

Yeah, he should be getting help. He's definitely having some kind of episode.

He was undefeated as a kickboxer and is insanely good basically training since early childhood in karate. I think he’s been a little stiff not to have claimed the ufc belt. Whilst he’s getting old he’s incredible fit and is fighting at his natural weight. Imo if opponents let their egos get in the way and don’t focus on talking him to the ground then a world of pain awaits. Incredible fight, that‘s some chin on holland but a hiding like that ends careers, kudos to his corner calling it quits but he’ll be awhile healing up from that.

He’s an entertainer and a sick man with a long history of mental health problems. I guess it says a lot about the media and who we’ve collectively become that we live on a steady diet of this crazy rubbish.
