Thinking of going to a comedy club open mic and having a crack. I've written 3 or 4 bits that have evolved over the last few months.

Bit of a bucket list thing to do... even just once.

Probably be sh*tting myself and talk at a million miles an hour.

I've played music in front of people countless times but this is a whole other thing.

Better to just point, mimic laughter but emit no sound to really get in the head of "are they actually enjoying this?" without then bringing anyone else into maybe joining in.

That's when you do what Spacey did and make a remark about a museum and how you need to make contact with them so gringo can be assured of quality control and get correct ratings. Then you ask him if he has any direct contact from his previous correspondence and push back onto "your audience".

Just you know, disregard me gving him a pep talk.

That moment you relieve yourself, finish up, turn to wash your hands, trip on something then since you didn't turn a light on as eh you know where things are, smash your knee on the corner of the half opened door follow up with then headbutting it at the same time and pirouette into the towel you were going to clean your hands on if you didn't trip.

Knee feels fine now, but I now also sport a red spot on my forehead like I'm a hindu or something. All because the other person in this house that isn't me put the bin in the middle of the goddamn room and I missed it walking in but copped it walking out.

I'm just thakful it was forehead, as if it was mouth it's likely I'd need a dentist again since some of mine are stuck together due to a baseball bat incident.
