Its never seemed that straightforward to me and i dont think too many others see it that way either.
The reality for most (and i include myself) is we have very little idea of the history and disputed borders but Russia seem to be the aggresor and took the first overt military action, hard to really argue for them at that point.
I also assume basically all of Eastern Europe is pretty sketchy.

Just as easy to post pictures of Russian military personnel covered in Nazi tattoos and with Nazi flags. There are Nazi supporters in every country if you want to look for them.
That’s my point, mateJust as easy to post pictures of Russian military personnel covered in Nazi tattoos and with Nazi flags. There are Nazi supporters in every country if you want to look for them.
Can’t be bothered with this, but it did make me laugh.I don't like to post anything political but it should be made clear that ZeroHedge is just a bullhorn for Putin's propoganda machine, so you have to understand anything he posts is likely to be bullsh*t.

I was taking the piss of course but yeah the symbol represented good things until Hitler turned it into what it is now.
I haven’t really bothered to follow the coverage in the press here because you’re not getting the whole story. It’s obvious from dards post but I’m fact checking anything I’m interested in these days.
Around my neck of the woods the Crimean war is perhaps a part of history that hasn’t been entirely forgotten.
Funny how that works![]()

I’m sounding less like a conspiracy skitzo with each week that goes by.

History is also littered with criminals and unsavories being marshalled to fight at the front line.
My name's George.Russia and most of Eastern Europe have an issue with skin head nationalists and nazis. Even our defence force has been infiltrated by them. I have no problem with sending them to the front line where they can try to prove their superiority. If you don't conscript, dumb-* cannon fodder of any kind is welcome.

Countries in SE Asia use the symbol quite a lot I've found.
I'd argue chicken and BBQ pizzas from Sunbury Dominos killed more.Only to Russia this isn't war, it's a special military action, and they're not conscripting, they're giving their citizens the opportunity to spend some time in the military where all they will be doing is repairing a car, or getting a pardon for petty crime like singing in a church (I know right?) and you will definitely never see any action outside of Russia especially Ukraine.
And then in about a week they ship you to the frontlines in Ukraine, often without even giving you a gun or even water in a canteen.
At least with Eastern European operations, when you enter another country, or in the case of most anyway, when you look at your president or representative and go "I really want to stab that person, many times, and blow up that building" and encounter "nou" on the attempt, it's bleedingly obvious of the why's and hows since it's only like 47 people and their dog so everyone knows about it well in advance to call it a war, civil or not.
I like that it literally got translated to good fortune or well being and the very moment Germany got their hand on it and almost conquered Europe in the process, it's now something abhorred and the religious subtext from 7000 years past be damned.
If only we can do the same to togaman and the burning bush.
Twas originally a Buddhist symbol the old swastika I believe.I was taking the piss of course but yeah the symbol represented good things until Hitler turned it into what it is now.

I thought it was a Hindu symbol. We see a bit of it in Fiji deployed in it's original context.Twas originally a Buddhist symbol the old swastika I believe.
Only a few months back I saw a Japanese tourist in fed square wearing a short sleeve button up shirt/kaftan style get up covered in them. Pretty confronting I have to say.
Seems it might be both, I was 99% sure it was Buddhist from a few trips to Japan.I thought it was a Hindu symbol. We see a bit of it in Fiji deployed in it's original context.
