The rumor mill is saying that there was a failed assassination attempt on Prigozhin tonight, and he is leading a counter offense against Putin.

Huge for global geo-politics if true and if the Wagner group can wrestle control away from Putin.

Rumour also being that Putin wants control of Wagner instead of it being a private militia at the whim of others.

Given I'm of opinion Russia is basically large NK and run entirely on propaganda first actual later mentality, this'd mean a surer powerbase for Putin to retain instead of a fractured one regardless of what geopolitiking gets involved. A harken back to Stalin totalitarianism days. As it stands, the freedom army peeps near the north Ukraine border taking some land and Wagner popping in for a random coup would be a nice diversion for Ukraine to lol at.

What if Russia's military buy in with the Militia?

They won't, in large parts anyway, since governmental services would be tied to current standings and the general populace being fed the propaganda of nazis hiding everywhere but there, there wou'dn't be enough groundswell for a true ousting, it'd have to be a militaristic thing ala Fiji and PNG as opposed to an ideological Chinese thing for example.

Next thing that happens is that Putin says "thank you to the Wagner Group for making it clear that it was the military that ****ed this all up. We're pulling out of Ukraine and these generals are gone".

Belarus to the rescue as if their position is any more secure than Russia and there's not any dissidents wanting a change somewhere...

Putin won't thank them, if it's believed anyway they've been pardoned for the damage they caused already and it's not like the freedom guys where there's wide spread "I hate dem" from what is Putins team levelled at Wagner.

I think it was all a proxy play anyway, propaganda first and with Wagner withdrawing from the Bakhmut area and back to Russia, there was some tit for tat of "do this" to "no" with the two groups, so it was more probably suring up a base at how far you can get if push came to shove, and given reports are Putin ran away from Moscow, advantage Wagner.

The salt and pepper crackle is also excellent

I'm confused, that clearly says pork rind and not soy or wheat or an other sub product for vegan friendly, and cooked in lard which is of course animal product.

So either mislabeled or tis not Vegan friendly. Not discounting how it might taste as pig is delicious, just yeaaaaah....

Damn that looks good, I've been trying to find somewhere that sells bulk pork crackle. Will have to give that one a go!
