I've told my mate if St Kilda win he will be scrunching up my bet slipThe last time I went to a Hawks game with a mate, his mum and his brother was Round 12, 1999.
They all wanted to leave at half time but to not ruin my day they sucked it up and stayed for the 2nd half...
At least you put money on it so the ending will be win/win.
I've told this story on here before, but I went to that game with my dad (Saints of course), and my Nan (Hawks). I remember sitting on the Waverly bench seats giving Nan shit for the whole game, and I'll never ever forget, After the Hawthorn comeback and their win, she didn't rub it in at all.The last time I went to a Hawks game with a mate, his mum and his brother was Round 12, 1999.

Giving ya nan shit hahaha ****ing hell.I've told this story on here before, but I went to that game with my dad (Saints of course), and my Nan (Hawks). I remember sitting on the Waverly bench seats giving Nan s**t for the whole game, and I'll never ever forget, After the Hawthorn comeback and their win, she didn't rub it in at all.
Made it 10x worse.
If she put any effort in, I could have easily been a Hawks supporter. She respected my dads decision too much to rock the boat lol.Giving ya nan s*t hahaha ****** hell.
She wasn't angry at you...she was just disappointed.
You'd be happy but have no character. Swings and roundabouts. If she put any effort in, I could have easily been a Hawks supporter. She respected my dads decision too much to rock the boat lol.
I can only imagine how my life would have turned out, had I been a Hawthorn supporter instead.

Our public transport system is a joke

Don’t think I bought a ticket on public transport until I was about 25, fare evading has always been the way the kids travel

And he’s a Saints man tooAnd one more thing - over the last year or so I've really come to respect fighters who aren't about any bullshit. Get in there, show respect to your opponent and be gracious in victory and defeat. Give it everything and have some class.
Can't stand guys like McGregor anymore, and with that said - Poirier has quickly become probably my favourite guy in the UFC now. Guy shows up every time, doesn't need to humiliate his opponent, and has total respect if he gets beat. Guys an absolute role model and what fighters should aim to become.
Was an unbelievable day of fights, something I don't think I'll ever forget - and headlined by guys in their respective sports that are the types of fighters I enjoy. Both boxing and the UFC could learn from these guys, don't need to talk trash to sell a fight.

And he’s a Saints man too![]()
