Pet peeve.

I generally have dry burgers, no dairy at all to help with me no choking on food as dairy = mucus = where's my air intake and why do I need to mouth breathe suddenly.

If you are associated with a restaurant and you produce a menu of any description; PUT IT IN THE @###$% MENU.

So, very looking forward to double bacon spiced patty and here's surprise mayo on both bun and lettuce and tomato and patty smothered in plastic cheese, none of which appeared in the friggen writing.

I get it, really, I'm an outlier, but FML, I'm a big boy, I ask to remove sh*t and pay full price if I know I need to, try not to make my life hell yeah?

Much better. Also a mate who runs a catering company said that most places don't put milk in mayo any more because of food allergies/sensitivities - not worth the risk.

I have an idea on how to finally fix the problem that is the Gold Coast Suns. (apart from the obvious of killing the club and giving it's licence to TAS)

Anyway - the Suns should, as of asap, bring in a policy that they will henceforth only recruit red headed players. The red hair matches their jumper - get it !
AFL will give them exclusive first dibs at any ranga coming out of contract at other clubs over the next 3 years as well as priority 1st round ranga picks in the next 3 drafts. In 3 years all Suns players will have red hair. Any non-red haired players still on their list in 2025 will need to dye their hair or shave their heads.

It would be a point of difference to other AFL clubs and would also grow their membership with the latent and dormant red haired demographic. Think of the marketing opportunities. Their patron / number 1 ticket holder would be Ronald McDonald !

All club staff and coaches etc. will be bound by this rule as well. Russell Tweeddale and Jayson Daniels like this idea.

Did I mention they also have to wear "clown noses" when they play ?

This is not a political post about the war in Ukraine, if you want that there is a thread in the Politics and Religion Forum (although I would recommend against it unless you want to be completely depressed).

This is a thread about the human suffering war brings by one of my favourite vloggers Bald and Bankrupt and how he and his mate JohnnyFD got out of Kiev a couple of days ago.

I wont say enjoy, but it is some epic citizen journalism and puts a human face to what is occurring.

It’s easy to see war in that romantic sense, the way it’s often portrayed in movies or video games.

It’s interesting to see it unfold in real time over social media, I can’t help but feel this is a big factor in preventing the liberal use of war crimes to achieve their aims. 40 years ago, it would have been possible to do so much more and get away with it.

It’s not good.
War isn’t ever good, but with the amount of content available to watch from on the ground it feels especially cruel what is happening over there.

I'm rather annoyed. I put in for leave on 1/2 for the week after ANZAC day.

Denied due to workload. No leave will be approved until the middle of the year

This after doing 500 hours of overtime last year and about 50 hours so far this year.
Fair to say today there was no overtime done by me. Money be damned.

Great tip thanks. I'd never heard them before, but the album is pretty cool. I really resonate with a lot of the lyrics, and his fathers story is tragically interesting.
