Wow me and Cam Smith have something in common, I always double the 1st and 18th. Thats it.Cam Smith - double bogey on the first, double bogey on the 18th. Still ends up with a 4 under par 68.
Not fair!!!

Tokenism to me is displaying something one or two times a year.
Happy for us all to have a differing opinion on these subjects.
I really just wanted to point out that discussions about inclusivity are easier when the subject matter is ‘those other guys over there’. But once it’s closer to the things our heart holds dear we start to get a little less forthright in what the right pathway forward is.
It’s a tough subject.
Home is the key battle ground where racism and domestic violence needs to be fought.
I truly feel sorry for anyone who lives under the weight of deeply racist thoughts, whether in public or private, simply because that person has closed themselves off to so much beauty in the world.
Anyone done the Swans SCG game in the past, going up this year

You are drawing a very long bow there, basically implying that I am supportive of hidden or home racism. A Leading question gives your motive away. Not your best work by a long shot.
"We don't want people saying things that are hurtful, but at the same time how do you stop what is hidden?" << quoting another poster
As I said previous, it easy for people to jump on the racism bandwagon especially electronically and run with the hounds but not have the guts to step up with domestic violence and make a real difference for people who are actually being physically hurt.
If you are that concerned about racism- drop down to the nearest police station and ask a domestic violence victim whether she would rather get a comment about her ripped jeans from her abuser or whether she would like her head punched in. The answer should change your thinking.
Yes it is when you think about it, even in public there are laws to protect people from racial vilification so don’t break those and you’re fine. Everyone and every race more or less is racist to some extent some more than others, trying to control or prohibit what people can think is impossible as well us undesirable.
I'm not really a traditionalist so it's not that. It sort of lessens the impact of the celebration of the way that AFL pioneered a lot of the changed attitudes that have improved the experience of a countless amounts of people in our society. Say what you like about the organisation but they pushed a potentially brave attitude shift that bristled a lot of older Aussies and risked alienating people.
It's possibly a form of racism in itself but there is something about the way indigenous players play the sport. It feels like a lot of them play on instinct and joy and have added so much of the spectacular moments in the game.
Maybe the AFL should as part of the acknowledgement of the indigenous component of the contribution to inventing the game, incorporate at the indigenous flag as wells the Aussie flag into the logo. Some say that Marn Grook was played at the site of the MCG and Wills incorporated it into his brand of football that he invented from his time in England at Cambridge but also had access to witnessing the indigenous game that sounds very similar.
Yeah sort of lost it a bit after the 3rd where he played a poor 2nd shot then Scheffler chipped in for a birdie which probably did his head in for a couple of holes.Cam smith trying so hard to make things happen looks more likely to implode than win this.
R.I.P.
